I used to visit my parents in Greece frequently when they were stationed there several years ago, so I've always had a fondness for the people, culture and food of Greece. My visit to Taverna Korfu last week brought back wonderful memories of those trips. The owners made the best of the pandemic and redecorated and upgraded their restaurant beautifully. The food was so delicious; the Köfte on my mixed grill plate was like a time machine, taking me back to my favorite island taverna on the beach when I closed my eyes to savor it. Amazing! Since many years I enjoy visiting Taverna Korfu because of the delicious food and the pleasant service. Located in the so called Ketzerbach one can enjoy proper Greek food, sitting outside in the evening sun (in summer).

Delicious food try seafood, it's amazing. Thoughtful service and nice spacious multilevel interior, so you don't feel as you are in the middle of crowded square. Prices are in line with the quality of food and service.
