Taverna La Granota

In Summer or Winter (not November), the Taberna at La Granota is a gem. The menu consists of good typical International food, with a strong Catalan and seasonal tendency. It is extensive (grouped under snacks/starters, omelettes, meat dishes) and very reasonably priced. In fact, the high quality ice creams and afters are the best priced for a long way around. It's well worth noting the address, because the Taberna is one of only two restaurants we know (putting aside hotels and fast food places) which serves meals at any hour of day from 13.00 right through to 23.00. If your looking for some local cuisine and a real sense of rural Spain, this place is well worth a visit. The locals eat here and when you see the menu you will see why. Lots of meat based dishes but that is understandable. However there is something on the menu to meet all requirements. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere,

We went to eat 6 people with a dog (border collie) put a table at the entrance below the bow and ate wonderfully. very abundant salads, homemade dishes and bread with tomato. We will certainly return, typical Catalan food without buts, stews, panties.

Nice place, very few people at 7pm on week day. Food is regular, nothing special. Good rose wine. Problem with english for the waiter, couldnt explain ourselves. Nothing for small kids, so better go childless. Réservez une table maintenant
