Beautiful place, creative and excellent cuisine. Good selection of wines from Priorat, Galicia and elsewhere. The service was relaxed and friendly, and we had a good evening. The bad rating is only due to the very unpleasant attitude of the manager who has no qualms about lying to customers. We booked directly with the restaurant on Tuesday for 9 people (6 adults and 3 teenagers) for dinner on Thursday (confirmation received by email and deposit of 180 EUR paid) but when we arrived that evening, the chef explained that we had 2 separate tables, one for 4 and the other for 5 but that we couldn't dine together: this was the restaurant's policy, which didn't accept bookings for more than 8 peop...
the site is very nice, they have a glazed lounge, where you can see the castle. The living room is well decorated, with a lot of mime. the waiters very attentive. the food very well. The only glue I can put is the desserts, the right and the torrige was a disappointment, it was very difficult and the drop was not appreciated, accompanied by cheese ice cream, the rest was stripped. in this aspect they have enough to improve.
All we ask was very rich especially the low and eggs at low temperature, the only ones that stick a friendly service but a little slow and the size of the tapas, the tortilla of the tacos for example only 10cms and only one comes, the wings came 7uds and are tiny, said it is good to bite something or a light dinner, but it would be good to have some more powerful options for a dinner.

We didn’t book, but they accommodate us as we were early diners. The menu is diverse and different, you could tell everything is cooked to order with fresh ingredients. It was also the staff that made the evening helpful, cheerful, smiling, knowledgeable and they looked as if they were enjoying being there. It makes such a difference.
Booked a table for dinner the day before. Really popular with locals. Great interior and a lovely terrace. The waiter spoke perfect English and was most informative. Really beautifully presented courses, exquisitely prepared. Highly recommended.
a 10 in every way. local, food, waiter's attention! everything we had was very good. for me to highlight the spleen and say of the torrija dessert. a luxury for the palate! No doubt a place to visit if you're in begur! Thank you!
