Tavolo Wine Bar Tuscan Grille Smithfield

Really great meal, calamari appetizer, chicken parm, veal parm, chicken cardinale with wagon wheels. A nice bottle of red wine! Dessert we took ny cheese cake and key lime pie to go those were good but not great; wishing we tried the tiramisu. Our waitress Ashley was very friendly she did have a lot of tables but still worked to make the meal a delight! We will be back!

When we arrived at the restaurant, after a 40 minute drive, there was a sign in the window saying that they were closed. I received no cancellation through Open Table, and no message at all from the restaurant. Very, very unprofessional and inconsiderate. We were shocked.

Food here is excellent if pricey. With the prices, the “non-cash” fee added to the bill was ridiculous. We enjoyed the privacy offered by screens between tables on the perimeter. Waitress Cheryl was attentive and funny.

Tavolo in Smithfield is a perfect restaurant for a special dinner. Food was fantastic. The ambience was equally as fantastic and our server Cheryl was phenomenal.
