I’ve been seeing this food truck around for a while and finally decided to check it out. I often visit various other street taco spots, including those on Town/Foothill and at farmers markets. I ordered items here that I’ve tried elsewhere, so I know what to expect in terms of prices and portions. I got chicken tacos and an asada quesadilla. While the flavor of the quesadilla was enjoyable, the portion was disappointing. For $10, there was hardly any asada in it. The taste was good, but I specifically ordered a steak quesadilla, not a cheese quesadilla, which is how it felt. For me, the value just wasn’t there. I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito, and the young man assured me it would include asada, onions, and cilantro. However, when I took my first bite, I was surprised to find it was mostly rice. The next bite was similar, filled with rice and beans, with barely any asada to be found. I paid $12.00 for this burrito, and while I understand that some places may use fillers, it would be appreciated if they included all the ingredients when informing customers about the dish. After three bites, I still hadn’t hit any asada. Next time, I think I’ll just make my own at home.
If Tavo's Tacos were a person, the locals in La Verne would definitely call him "solid." As someone from La Verne, I can also say that Gustavo and his team are just as solid. They serve good food made by good people. I’m not sure where Tavo lives, but he would make an excellent neighbor. If you went on vacation, your plants would be watered, your pets fed, and any flyers or mail would go unnoticed, all while your yard would look as nice as Tavo's!
I drove by and saw a sign that said Best Tacos In town so I had to stop and see for myself. Most places with those claims doesn't live up to its name, well let me tell youuu! It's soo good! I ordered the 2 carnitas mulitas with crunchy chicharron and 2 asada with crunchy chicharron, Mannn soo bombbb, YOU GOTTA TRY ITTT

Very tasty soft tacos. The hot sauce was really good too. The only thing is they're kind of small. I was expecting for two dollars each they would be a regular sized soft taco. I'll try a burrito next time. They look like they're regular size.
It's a taco truck, so the atmosphere isn't much to write home about. There are only a few seats available, and since it was a chilly evening, it wasn't the best setting. They only accept cash. However, the food is outstanding: 5/5!
The tacos at Asada are absolutely amazing! I ordered four, and with the added cheese, it only came to $9, which isn't too bad at all! I ended up getting two more because they were just that good.
I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the prices are fair.

Hit and miss with these guys. Sometimes it's great. Sometimes is dry and not worth finishing.
