This was our first visit to this restaurant that we'd heard quite a lot about. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the place was full.From the outside there isn't much signage and gives the impression of a typical village bistro, but when you step inside, the atmosphere & interior decor really set the Thai atmosphere. The menu is quite comprehensive with many different choices depending upon your taste, the meals we had were well cooked & well spiced (not sure if you can ask for more spicy hot) well presented & very tasty. Their wine menu has quite a good selection of local Swiss wines. The staff were very polite and we didn't have to wait too long between taking our order & being served.We had a delightful meal, a good experience and for sure will be back.
I have to say I am surprised with all the positive TA reviews and the GaultMillau award.. LOL! I guess if you have never been to Thailand or any other Asian country then its ok.... its really basic Asian food that you can find everywhere with much lower price and bigger portion.... they probably think by serving smaller portion, nice presentation and high price would make it special... :P well nice try...All in all its an ok experience despite the price, portion and taste... wont go back though..
Nestled in an unlikely spot, this is without a doubt one of the finest Thai restaurants in the country: expansive menu where everything is cooked and spiced to perfection, charming but unpretentious atmosphere and a very functional welcome.There's a reason this place has so many devotees who sing its praise so highly, and if you want to know what that is, you'll just have to swing by and find out. You'd be wise to reserve in advance.
