While the ambiance may have a quirky charm, I can find comparable experiences at Disney, complete with excellent service. The food here was disappointing; I had a gumbo that was unappetizing and slimy, almost like something you'd feed to pigs. The other dishes tasted like they were fried in old oil. I want to spread the word about this experience so that others are aware. It’s time to let this place fade into the past where it belongs. It's truly a shame.

I visited this restaurant with a large group a couple of years ago. The food was excellent, but we did experience a lengthy wait. Luckily, we were prepared and brought snacks and drinks to enjoy while we waited, almost like tailgating! The location, nestled in the woods away from downtown Oxford, adds a unique charm to the experience. I would definitely go back! You can never go wrong with Southern fried food!

Taylor grocery has some of the best fried catfish and fried chicken I've ever had, and I come back whenever I get the chance. Their comeback sauce is easily my favorite and is great with the chicken. They aren't open all week so it can be very busy onweekends. Worth getting there early. The restaurant has great atmosphere and is a real taste of the south.

OMG this is my favorite restaurant the first time I went I fell in love with their fish it's the best I've EVER had an I love fish it's always cooked just like I like it I've never eaten there an was disappointed. Sure wished I had a plate right now. Don't stop frying that fish are I might starve lol Réservez une table maintenant

This place is a must-visit if you're in Oxford! The atmosphere is fun and it's all about that comforting Southern cooking. The chicken fingers and catfish are amazing. Plus, you can bring your own drinks and tailgate while you wait for a table!

This is a fantastic spot for catfish and hush puppies. I've tried both the fillets and the bone-in catfish, and both are outstanding. The sides are delicious too. My wife orders the grilled chicken and says it's really good as well.

What an intriguing spot! It was incredibly busy, and we had to wait almost two hours for a table, which just highlights how popular this restaurant is. The only downside is that they don’t serve alcohol unless you bring your own.
