The restaurant has nice tables and it was good you could see pictures of the dishes on their menu so you knew what you were getting as a lot of the things were new to us. We ordered quite a few things including the za'atar vegetable wrap, fava beans with sour sauce, manakish muhammara (red pepper paste pizza) and a spinach fatayer (pie) as it was all so cheap we thought we would need to order more. Having lived in Middle East for a few years, it 's difficult to find true ME food outside the region most places serve subpar hummus with flat bread and call it Middle Eastern food. Not this place! Freshly prepared bread, great hummus and baba ghanoush, kebabs etc. including the hybrid ME specialties like manakeesh with Nutella so popular in the region. Because they are open late, we got a good dinner after a day trip when most places had their kitchens closed, and returned back a few days later, because the food was soooo good!
Cannot understand the ratings. Here is what I got delivered. An inedible sickly sweet aubergine jam like stew. A labneh wrap done in dough that was raw. A bag of supermarket wraps still in their wrapping. A felafel so salty as to be inedible in a stale cold wrap. A wrap filled mostly with chips. I cannot understand the 5 star ratings. Inexplicable.
We are now happy with food today We have whole chicken which was nice but the shawerma was dry and burned , the muhammera starter was not nice, baba ganuj was fine but not great. We ordered beef and chicken burgers but they were very bad as well Over all I will say only the chicken was good and rest was below average I will not recommend

A group of 7 of us went to dine at this restaurant on Saturday evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and appreciated that they were able to accommodate our strict dietary requirements by preparing fresh food for us. We would definitely like to go back again!
Staff are really pleasant and polite. The food was really good, we had the shawerma, hummus with meat and lahm bel ajeen. It was all lovely and would highly recommend the restaurant. My favourite was the shawerma.
Amazing food and really good value for money. The portions were so generous we had to get some of it packed up. We will be definitely eating here again when we return to Edinburgh.
The food was terrible, the menu was made of ripped paper and stapled together, they only had plastic cutlery. I left and will not be returning. I do not recommend this place.

The shawarma meat was mainly fatty and tough, the falafel lacked tahini, and the baba ganoush was overly sweet. I would not recommend this restaurant.
I got a take out wrap with za atar and vegetables and it was delicious and filling. Will eat here again. Very friendly staff.
