The atmosphere was outstanding, earning a perfect score, which really enhanced our evening. The service was commendable as well, receiving a solid rating for attentiveness and friendliness. However, the food fell a bit short of expectations and only received a mediocre rating of 3. Overall, for a dinner under $20, the value is good, especially with plenty of free parking available.
I went out for dinner with my daughter, who is quite a picky eater. I ordered the braised beef tacos with roasted beets and took home some key lime pie, while my daughter had the Mediterranean salad with chicken. We also shared an appetizer of guacamole and chips, which was absolutely delicious. This was my second visit; I had lunch there about two months ago. Overall, it was a fantastic choice! Just a heads up, parking can be a bit tight, but we dined in and enjoyed great service.
UPDATE: Regardless of which Tazza location we visit, we always have a wonderful time. The bartenders are both professional and welcoming, and the entire staff is exceptional. The meatballs are outstanding, and I highly recommend their Redwood, which is a delicious twist on the classic Old Fashioned. It's become our go-to restaurant whenever we're not in the mood to try something new in Richmond.
This restaurant is fantastic! As a newcomer to the area, I've visited several times and Tazza never lets me down. The food, service, and atmosphere are all wonderful!
