My husband and I went here for New Years Eve. He ordered the Ribeye and I ordered the Edisto Shrimp. Oh my! Well I thought my shrimp was great! Then I got to the bottom of the plate and my husband noticed that the lettuce looked wrong, and after close examination and horrible smell coming from it, we realized that the lettuce was indeed ROTTEN! How is it that you can mess something up that simple?!? If I had been a health inspector that would have royally made me upset. That should have never been near that plate. It should have only been in the trash. On top of that...my husbands ribeye was beyond subpar. He said it was the worst steak he had ever tasted in his life. I thought he might have been exaggerating but after he added salt, pepper and butter I tasted it and nearly immediately spit it out. The steak tasted like feet. The quality of meat was horrible and I have had cheap quality meat from a grocery store before but this was waaaaay worse. I would never recommend to anyone to ever go here. Even if it is The best steak in Augusta. I think that 's horribly deceptive. Management seemed to not even care and was too busy flipping Ketchup bottles and spilling it on the floor, and the server obviously could tell something was wrong with the food but neglected to ask. Overall not good. We have written to their corperate office about this location. I hope its not rated again for the best steak because that is a horrible lie. Something really needs to be done here, it needs a massive overhaul of food quality. Please don 't waste your money. It is not worth it.
We went out for a birthday lunch here. 6 out of 10 of our meals had to be sent back. The manager never even came to our table once to apologize about the problem. The server was irrated with us because of the problems and did not tend to our table. There were only two other tables in the restaurant at the time. A couple and a table of four. Neither were her table, yet we ran out of drinks and could not get anything that we needed.
This is the most disgusting restaurant I have ever stepped foot in. I wasn't in there for more than 5 minutes. My mom and I were going to have a nice dinner out, so we thought we would have steak. As soon as we walked into the place, the service was extremely slow. We got to our table and noticed the place smelled like a nursing home/rotting meat. It was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!
