The empanadas here are quite mediocre considering the high prices. They cost $6 each, or $5 if you opt for a combo. The beef filling is generic and the portions are disappointingly small for the price. The chicken and cheese option was misleadingly advertised with images showing it packed with peppers or vegetables, but in reality, it was rather bland. To make matters worse, it didn’t even come with any sauce. I really question why I would pay so much for such a lackluster experience.
Although I’m not usually a fan of empanadas, I decided to give this place a try, and I have to say it was the best empanadas I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the buffalo chicken empanada and the tres leches cake. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The blonde guy at the counter was particularly nice, and the food was prepared quickly. I’m giving this place 5 stars and I wholeheartedly recommend it. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The food appeared unsanitary, with what looked like bugs in it, and the building itself was in poor condition. It seemed to be managed by inexperienced teenagers, which added to my concerns. Honestly, I ended up throwing away the food and regretting the money I spent. I definitely won’t be going back or ordering from there again.
I recently visited Te Amo Empanadas, hoping to enjoy some delicious, freshly made empanadas that are new to the area. Unfortunately, what I received was mostly just crust—there was no cheese at all. I found some bones and gristle in the chicken, which was disappointing. The buffalo chicken was quite oily, and while the beef was decent, it could have benefited from more seasoning. There was no sauce included with the meal, and they forgot to bring the black bean empanada.

A few of our items were wrong, but this was by far the worse. Here is what is supposed to be bourbon blueberry empanadas. Instead they are cinnamon sugar dusted corn, bean, and cheese empanadas. ?
