I really enjoyed my strawberry energy drink from Tea Hut! It's my first visit to this brand/shop so I ordered from their Tea Hut specials and was pleasantly surprised!I was apprehensive because the store seemed disorderly, staff seemed overwhelmed and ordering payment system was broken. Cashier didn't ask any details about how I wanted my drink (maybe this is normal for the drink I ordered) but entire ordering experience took 10min+ despite not being busy so I wasn't sure why the vibe was so disheveled.But alas, my drink was delicious! Tasted the high quality green tea and the fruit was additive in flavor. I wanted to get another because one was not enough! Store is cutely decorated ambiance...
Cute little spot to stop in if you're enjoying a stroll in downtown San Carlos. We happened upon Tea Hut on a warm sunny Sunday post farmers market. The place was busy with patrons lining the outside sidewalk. They have a plentiful menu of options. My fam enjoys the fruit tea blends. Passion fruit green tea and something similar to an Arnold Palmer were picked. The taro boba was a nice option instead of normal boba. Similar texture minus the sweetness which was fine with the passion fruit tea. The lemon tea had slices of fresh citrus which made the drink nice and tart. Refreshing on this warm day!
We were walking down Laurel St. with the Family and happened to run across this Boba spot, the staff and service were both good and I appreciate the containers they came in being sturdy and the eco friendly straws.The part we were let down on was the flavor, as someone who loves milk tea I opted for the 4 seasons milk tea as that was a new option not found at other locations I frequent. The Boba was cooked well, not overly soft or firm but less flavor that I normally anticipate.If I'm in the area again with a craving I'd give them a second chance, but I'll stick with my favorites for now.
Update from my previous visit: This time, I went directly to the register, and Apple Pay worked perfectly! I think the self-order kiosk caused some issues with my mobile payment last time. The service and drinks are excellent—I ordered the mango coco again, and it was fantastic, just as advertised. I'm excited to return, especially since it's located on a pedestrian-friendly street that's closed to traffic, and parking nearby is relatively easy with the available lots.

The Tea Hut is my go-to spot for tea. They have an excellent variety of teas, all crafted with fresh ingredients and high-quality tea leaves. I really appreciate the range of flavors they offer, from traditional black tea to unique choices like jasmine green milk tea.
Expensive drinks, below average taste! Went here once during their first year of opening and thought it was okay. Was hoping this second time around since I'm in the area again), it would be better.NopeX :
Cheese lychee tea boba opened my third eye to understand the meaning of having good quality boba.
Love the different kinds of fruit tea options they provided. Watermelon tea is very refreshing.
