Very recommended. This is a sweet little cafe about 15 minutes walk uphill from the station infinitely doable in the old town. It has a beautiful terrace over the small street from where you can dine outside while you overlook the lake and the mountains. In addition to really good coffee and beautiful looking pastries, I couldn't taste everything! They have more substantial farewells like quiche, crepes gallets, salad. I had the ham cheese gallette with buckwheat flour and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly, with my high school French. And there is Wifi to stay a bit after your meal and plan your next adventure or write such a review!!

Visited this place in Dec as our hotel was near by. We went early (around 9 am as we heard the run out very quickly on the fresh baked goods early). We opted for some Croissants/ pan au chocolat and crepes. The pastry was served...hot, crispy, flaky, soft and chewy in the middle delicious along with the very filling crepes and loose leaf teas. Lovely place, very friendly staff and the mountain view in the terrace is gorgeous. It was reasonably priced (for 2 people, 2 x tea, coffee, pastries and a crepe was around CHF 20). They also serve quiche and salads

If you are staying or walking above Montreux, this is a very convenient and good place to eat. We had breakfast here several times instead of expensively in our hotel. Delicious pastries, juices, coffee, tea. It's also popular for lunch, with quiche, crepes, omelets and...sandwiches we had vegetable quiche. There is a small outdoor patio across the street from the shop, and a few tables inside. Very pleasant proprietor, and his wife bakes everything. In the early morning, she keeps bring out whatever is finished baking, and keeps adding during the day.
