it was a spontaneous idea to drive to the pond mill. we had appetit on carp and the season we opened for us in the pond mill. the ambiente in the old mill is something special. we were able to marvel at the old mill technology and the building during the meal or between the walks. the food was very good and there were best Saxon food. oma or nuts could not have made it better. to the conclusion we were all agreed...here we go back again!!! thanks for the delicious food and the friendly service!
we (4 people) have visited the motogp race in Hohenstein-Ernstthal and have become aware of this restaurant. the mill is beautifully decorated, comfortably angled and you can see at many details the old facilities of the mill. with beautiful weather you can sit on an assenterasse above the old mühlbach. our eating was well done and with much eased up. hearty home cooking, deliciously prepared and good portions. we were happy and come back.
we were in a larger group at the weekend in the pond mill and then fortunately could sit outside on the beautiful terrace. the dishes were all very delicious. I can recommend the rumpsteak and also the sprinkled with late zle as well as the carving. the prices are moderate. at the weekend in any case, as the mill cannot offer many seats.

the kitchen and the historic mill is simply excellent! but the overnight is a little needy (small rooms and the mattresses were bad at that time) maybe new ones are in there?
Friendly staff! The food was very tasty and plentiful. The price for an overnight stay pp. Breakfast is justified as well as for food in the restaurant.
