As I write this review, I regret the fact that I didn't snap some photos to include along with it. There were 6 of us (3 couples) who met for dinner this past Saturday evening at Beijing Bistro. For most of us, this was our first time dining here. We arrived just before 6pm and were surprised that that place was initially empty. This was rather surprising given the fact it was a weekend dinner time slot, but perhaps not so surprising given the heatwave and the prospect that everyone was down at the beach. In any event, we ordered quite a bit of food that was to be shared amongst us all. The appetizers were mostly amazing. I would highly recommend the Crispy Creamy Spicy shrimp and Grand Marn...
What a delightful experience! We ordered the Sesame shrimp and Pepper steak from the lunch special for just $15, which included the entree, soup, rice, and a side salad. It’s an incredible value, and I can’t believe it wasn’t busier! We also tried the Hunan duck special. Everything was wonderful—the shrimp was light and crispy, the duck skin was perfectly crispy, and the vegetables were bursting with flavor. The staff was attentive and friendly. This place is definitely worth a visit any time of day, but the $15 lunch special is truly an unbeatable deal!
We arrived 10 minutes early and they sat us in a dark corner by the bathrooms and backdoor. There was a constant draft flowing. We asked to be seated in the main dining room and were told there was no room. However, we looked and there were several open tables. We were told those were reserved and I reminded them we had made our reservations 4 weeks prior Our waiter, Nick, was excellent and the food was good. Unfortunately, it was a very uncomfortable dining experience.
The best-kept secret in Redbank is Beijing Bistro. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is outstanding. The peppercorn filet mignon, peppercorn shrimp, and scallops are absolutely fantastic. Beijing Bistro never disappoints!

Christmas dinner was lovey at Beijing Bistro! I had the Red Curry Chicken Special. It was full of flavor and not too spicy! The rice was cooked perfectly. Prices are reasonable! I highly recommend! I will be returning on the regular!
My sizzling chicken dish was very good, shrimp and beef. My dining guest had Mu Shu and it was too large a portion and a bit greasy. Overall, good and expect food will improve overtime. I still would recommend based on my dish.
The food was great and offered good value, but the service left something to be desired. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, yet it took a long time to get the waiter's attention. I hope things improve on my next visit.
The food is delicious, and as someone with celiac disease (gluten-free), I found it very easy to find suitable options, thanks to the menu being clearly labeled. I will definitely return!

New Year's Eve was fantastic. We ordered a dish that was recommended and really enjoyed it. It was a wonderful way to celebrate, and we had a great time throughout the evening.
The very best in the area. Still is. Sizzling Filet Mignon pepper steak still my favorite.
