Our server, Sam, was excellent. Although she seemed a bit new, she was able to find answers to our questions. The oysters were exceptional—very fresh and clean. The potstickers are always a reliable choice. However, the paella was just okay; it lacked flavor, and the rice had a different texture than what we typically expect from paella. The lobster roll was quite bland as well. On the other hand, the barbecue chicken and ribs were fantastic. Tempo is a wonderful spot that offers a variety of dishes, but be sure to check the menu often since it changes regularly. We usually sit at the bar, but last night we were placed in the dining room. I hadn't eaten at Tempo for many years, primarily because I found the noise level too loud. I decided to try them again, as they are a local business and had gotten good reviews on line. I was pleased to find the noise level much improved, probably due to acoustic tiles and drapery. The meal experience was great. The cocktail I ordered was made to perfection. The service was impeccable, the waiter was attentive, but not intrusive. The food was very good. I ordered the pan seared scallops with risotto, delicious, but a little too salty. First and foremost, the service was very disappointing. It took 30 minutes for us to receive our drinks, and over an hour for our appetizers to arrive. The waitress returned twice after we had ordered our main courses to inform us that they were out of those dishes. Although the waiter mentioned that we could customize our meals since it’s a scratch kitchen, they still ignored the changes we requested. The food was mediocre, and the prices were reasonable. We made an 8 PM reservation, but we didn’t leave until 10:30 PM because of the slow service.
For our main course, we ordered a few fish dishes that were cooked to perfection. The strip steak was impressively large—definitely enough to share, if not quite enough for the whole table—but it was a very generous portion. The sides that accompanied the steak were freshly made and not only enhanced the flavor but also made the plate visually appealing.
To finish off the meal, we had a brownie sundae with homemade vanilla ice cream. The brownie was simply amazing—so fluffy it melted in your mouth. I can't wait to return!

The Pretzel is a great starter, as well as the pot stickers. I am always on the lookout for the Shepherd's Pie but is only a seasonal dish. Meanwhile, the Meatloaf is great and the salads are excellent. When ordering from the Bar as for Jake as your bartender. He is a master mixologist.
Server didn't know how to respond when my friend said her meal was bad. Instead he offered her another drink. A bridal shower was 2 tables over and was too loud. They should have been seated in a private room. Bar ran out of ingredient to make one of our drinks. Big disappointment.
Food excellent. Server seemed to be off rhythm when some ordered cocktails other apps. After we were served, chked in once, but should have checked again was slow to clear plates. Server wasn't around after we got our food.
Food was delicious and cocktails and wine recommendation was great. There was a bit of a lag in service, which might have been due to understaffing? Will definitely be back.

Opted for hot (i.e. spicy) option for their pan seared shrimp and scallops which to them just meant more jarred vinegar peppers. Pretty gross
Good food and drinks. Crowd was of all ages, including kids on weeknight.
