We went to WALL following a recommendation of our host and based on the other trip advisor reviews, but we didn't expect it to be so good. We tried various dishes burgers, Thai, steaks and wings, each of them being tasty, fresh and with some surprising twists. The burgers were some of the best we ever had. Couple this with excellent cold draft beer, fast and efficient service (unfortunately unusual to this part of the world) and friendly welcoming owners and you'll understand why this place is so highly recommended. Our 2 kids loved it so much the first time, they wouldn't accept going to any other place on the following evening, and quite rightfully so.
It is located in the building of the climbing walls and during diner you have a nice view on the climbers. The restaurant has a kind of alternative vibe and is not your typical Austrian restaurant. The burger and steak tasted okay but not out of the ordinary or anything special. Chocolate mousse was good. I liked the fact that they had some exclusive gins you don’t see often.
As an American, the burgers here are better than anything I ever had in the US. The wings were excellent and juicy. And to top it off, the deserts were very good. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. Will definitely return when in the area again!
