We booked this restaurant for the following evening as it looked popular, and were glad we did, but in fact, the food was only average and we were a little disappointed. We went for the 3 course set menu which from memory cost about 20 euros. My partner and I both chose the Corsican meat platter which was very good and prettily presented, but the mains which followed were only average. My partner chose the white fish which he said was very bland and was served with rice and just a few vegetables. I had the Corsican veal stew which was well-cooked but uninteresting and served with sliced carrots which I'd seen prepacked in the supermarkets. My wife and I had lunch today here. We had the 2 course option and chose main and dessert. I had pasta with smoked Ham and a nice cheese sauce followed by moelleux au chataigne. Both were very good and good size portions. My wife had filet de dorado followed by fiadone. She finished everything which is a huge recommendation. The service was prompt and friendly but not over the top. The whole meal was enjoyable and very good value for money. Only downside was the hand drier in the toilets did not work and the replacement towel provided could have been cleaner. Would not hesitate to visit again.
Nous avons opté pour le menu corse, le menu de trois plats. Très bonne qualité de nourriture pour 19,50 €. Beaucoup de plats locaux. Le cadre se situe dans l'une des ruelles typiques de la ville. Très détendu et vous pouvez simplement regarder passer le monde. Ils ont un bon 'menu enfant' pour les enfants (que la moitié des restaurants que nous avons essayés n'avaient pas). L'avis de notre enfant de 7 ans était un pouce levé pour le saumon et les pommes de terre, le dessert à la glace et certainement le bonus sucette en payant l'addition! Je recommande vivement pour un excellent dîner.
After searching the area for something different this lovely little restaurant took our eye. We both had the set meal for 20€ and were pleasantly surprised. I had the assorted meats and Chris had the scallops, our main courses were veal stew and Corsica penned followed by panacotta pudding and assorted cheeses. Excellent meal all round, be hard to ho somewhere different tomorrow

I went to dinner with a friend because we had good references. The service is attentive and fast, the food is just great. The sauteed venison was tasty and juicy, the pasta dishes are very abundant, the cheeses are great and I ate the best tiramisu dessert. I will definitely repeat.
Very nice restaurant, it is in a small street into the town of l’île Rousse. The rapport of quality/price is excellent. There are some tipically Corse courses and the waiters were very kind.
Warm place, very kind and familiar attention! Good price! The food taste really good!! The restaurant looks old, however when you are inside, and if it' s night in, it has an special charm.
The veal and pasta were fine, the steak was a bit tough. The menu is limited and desserts quite basic but It was fine but nothing special.
