When i lived in Melbourne this was the place I would frequently visit to top up my Plant based Pantry. This place makes a Vegan Health freak feel like they have died and willingly gone to Vegan consumer heaven in a quirky Alice and wonderland environment where once can find themselves getting lost upon the shelves stacked full of dried beans, pulses, lentils and activated organic nuts. Terra Madre undoubtedly has an amazing selection of vegan products as well as competitive prices. It has in size from a small organic store to a supermarket, but still trade on its local image. It has become super popular with inner city dwellers and is often packed, but the narrow branches and poky rooms make it difficult to negotiate at the best times. I find it great that this place provides vegan articles, but shopping here is not always the most pleasant or friendly experience.

Wonderful shop, amazing options and all for such a cheap price however the actual experience of walking down tiny isles and standing in a long line surrounded by lots of people is not for everyone, it’s such a great shop they should branch out and make the shop so much bigger! I love it here!

Amazing selection even for vegans. The queue to pay can be a bit draining but it does move relatively quickly
