After enjoying two courses and ordering several bottles of wine, we were surprised to be informed that cutting the cake would cost £9 per slice per person. I dined at Terra Mare with a friend a few weeks ago and found the experience to be disappointing. The food was average and not worth the high prices. I started with the burrata, which was underwhelming. For the main course, I had the ragu, which was edible but featured overcooked pasta and excessive salt. Terra Mare is easily the best restaurant I've visited in Cardiff! The city has long needed a venue of this caliber, and the team behind Sillures has truly set a new standard for all local establishments. The ambiance, along with the knowledgeable and experienced staff, combined with the exceptional food, enhances the overall experience, especially being so close to the beautiful Cardiff Castle. Had a fab time here on NYE. Staff took our coats, and sat us at the bar after our meal was ended to finish our wine. Food was insanely tasty we had: katsu chicken goats curd bitter leaf salad kimchi mac n cheese truffle mash potatoes cauliflower arancini 1 bottle of wine to share Cost us around £49 each which was really good value for the quality of the food we ate and the service.

The food and ambience is good however service is appalling. There is either not enough staff or lack of urgency and attention to detail. 20 mins wait for drink order to be served, noone checking if everything is okay, no offer of dessert menu and having to find someone to get bill and coats. We won't be visiting again.
Such a serendipitous find . An elegant setting. Superb service professional staff . There were 6 of us in our party all with varying dietary needs which were catered for superbly. Jim Maitre’d and Luke on the bar were highly professional The food was superb and extremely reasonably priced for the quality
Dined last night with 3 others, food was really good quality and good portion sizes considering their small plates. Will was our server and he was great! I recommend the arancini and the harissa cauliflower! Will be back to try some of the other options soon!
SO ANGRY. Booked a table for Valentines day back in November. Nomad cancelled my table, however they did not message to say i only found out when i logged in to check the time of reservation. Poor Customer Service
