Terrasse gourmande

We noticed this restaurant from the river and moored for the night so that we could go there for dinner. By this time we had been in France for a week and had eaten in some very good restaurants,sometimes twice a day, so simply chose...this one for its location and because we could see they had a terrace with river views. Next time we'll choose it for the food! Dinner was excellent in every way and one of the best meals we had on the trip. We could find no fault with the setting, the service or the food. J'ai consulté Trip Advisor à la recherche des meilleurs restaurants de la région de notre gîte et j'ai choisi celui-ci. Nous sommes arrivés et avons attendu une table pendant quelques minutes, ce qui n'était pas un problème. Le personnel était très agréable et notre table donnant sur la rivière était bientôt disponible. Ils ont apporté le menu sur ardoise pour que nous puissions pointer nos choix si nous le souhaitions. Je peux honnêtement dire que chaque plat était superbe - bien cuisiné, assaisonné et présenté et le prix était très raisonnable. Nous y retournerons certainement la prochaine fois que nous serons dans la région.

Un restaurant moderne avec une terrasse qui surplombe l'Yonne, bien que vous ne puissiez pas profiter de la vue sur la rivière à moins d'être sur la terrasse, qui n'est pas ouverte par mauvais temps. L'ambiance est celle de deux personnes qui font un immense effort pour créer un restaurant de haute qualité et décontracté et ils y parviennent. Le menu est présenté sur un tableau noir mais la liste des vins est livrée de manière plus conventionnelle. Des combinaisons de plats vraiment intéressantes, présentées de manière décorative. Ils l'appellent cuisine artisanale mais ce n'est certainement pas rustique. Réservez une table maintenant

Driving south we needed to eat. We totally stumble across this place, after taking a random exit from the autobahn and just going for it. Sometimes - these things happen. Great little place, nothing extravagant nor over the top. Humble appearance, great service and great food with great value. Mid-range prices but healthy portions. Very french and very tasty. Great hamburger for the kids, great foie-gras and really subtle and tasty fish dish (fish dish of the day). Recommend for near-by people.

Malheureusement, ma mauvaise expérience s'est terminée au moment où je suis entré dans le restaurant : je suis arrivé et on m'a dit qu'ils allaient fermer. J'avais voyagé pour atteindre cet endroit et l'heure de fermeture indiquée sur TripAdvisor était... Vous devriez également prendre soin de vos clients sur ces choses-là...

This little place is a gem. Beautiful food and well priced. We stopped here on our way to Lyon and I'm so glad we did. The service was fantastic even though we can't speak French (but we tried) and the food was delicious. Would love to come again. Réservez une table maintenant

I looked on Trip Advisor for the best rated restaurants in the area of our gite and chose this one. We arrived at 13.00 and waited for a table for 15 minutes which was no problem. The staff were very pleasant an our table looking...More

Probably one of my best food experiences. Lovely location, fantastic food (good quality, abundant and elegantly served) and incredibly reasonable prices. Don't miss it!
