Tesco Cafe - Réserver une table

Popped in here for lunch. Very long queue to order/pay. Long wait for food too. One party member had poached eggs on toast. When it came, there were two tiny, round, soggy white balls on two pieces of flacid bread that hadn't been toasted or...buttered. Another party member had a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich. This was also soggy and limp, with little to no cheese in at all very expensive then for some bread and tomato at Overall, very diasppointed with the quality. The cutlery and glasses were mucky to the point where we had to return to the help-yourself' counter twice to find clean ones and ended up washing them in a cup of water ourselves. No smiles from the staff at all. Definitely won't be going back.

Visited after recent refurb. Evidently to reduce number of staff Food good; staff friendly; tables only about percent occupied; but unlikely that we'll ever visit again! Why? A twenty minute wait to get to the only cash register taking lunch orders, and...a further minute wait after complaining for the food to arrive at our table. It is also worthy of note that a large number of people before us in the queue to order food gave up and left As we would have done if we had realised that the long wait was not over on reaching the cash register

Food comes out much better quality and hotter than before there big refurb. Staff are friendly and make an effort to chat with us unlike M&S next door. You queue at the till for your order but after that it’s brought out restaurant style (our...pie and fish and chips came in

Was looking forward to a nice breakfast. Staff were really nice. The food was not nice at all. Really greasy, hash browns were far to oily. Cheap sausages mushrooms were tasteless. Should have gone to weathetspoons

The service is always slow. If you buy a meal and also want a hot drink by the time you have got your drink and paid the meal is cold. There must be a better quicker way.
