My husband and I would always get a full rack of ribs and they would always be delicious. However we ordered some a couple months back, we found the ribs to have quite a large fat layer, to the point of being unpleasant. We did just put it down to a once off, unlucky cut. However we ordered again recently and had the same experience, being extra fatty. I'm wondering if maybe they have a new supplier for the pork? I'm still hesitant to give a review under 4 stars simply because it's always been so good here!! The staff are always wonderful, and the restaurant is always super clean and put together. We will be hesitant to order again for a while.
Not having been to Texas but loving Mexican food was most impressed with this restaurant The plates are very generous and the menu offers a choice of individual selections of beef, pork or chicken that has been slow cooked to perfection. My son and I shared a plate that had all three and sides of beans, rice, salsa and tortillas. The menu recommended that we either add more meat or an entree if we were sharing so we ordered the pulled pork waffle fries nachos. This was a huge meal that we couldn't quite get through. They make a great margarita Would highly recommend to carnivores, great value for money.
I just ordered pork belly bites . It comes with colslaw and salad which I declined . And instead asked if I could get some more pork belly bites . Wow . When it came I opened the packaging and found a dismal five small pieces of pork belly. And some cold chips .which I paid $30 for. That’s right $6 for each measly pork belly bite . I was fuming . And will never order from Texas pantry again . I don’t know how these are still on the menu . What a rip off of my hard earned money
Superb service, loaded waffle fries to die for! However the half rack of ribs were unfortunately destroyed. Extremely dry with very little sauce/flavour throughout, rather disappointed and unable to eat much as they were just too dry

Excellent food, service, atmosphere, and drinks!!! A little taste of home despite the distance. Will be back again next time I am in Hobart!!
Absolutely amazing food and great staff. Been there a couple of times, I have been impressed. Can't wait to go back.... highly recommend.
