CELEBRATION NIGHT at a ROADHOUSE A couple days ago we found out that our Neighbor, Linda, is having a Birthday on Wednesday, so my Wonderful Wife contacted her and invited her out to Dinner on us and she gets to choose the place. Well, to make this part of the review short I 'll get right to it. Linda cut her list down to two places and one of them was Texas Roadhouse (San Angelo) and that 's where we went. We have been here for 7 months now and have not gone to Texas Roadhouse out here and it 's in our neighborhood. We Love their Rolls, Peanuts and of course, their Steaks. I studied at the culinary school so I can say that this is a franchise and not a restaurant. There's no chef, just a few line kitchens. Our steaks, where cold, brought me a loaded baking potato with all the ingredients deconstructed. In the culinary school, if we serve our food, the customer should have nothing to do with the food except eating it. I don't work for the restaurant and don't want to assemble my food I can do this a home. Unless it is a special restaurant that deals with deconstructed food, which is not. I'll never eat again or enter this restaurant unless they need a chef to clean up the place. Look at the sad image of the product they use.
Our server was great. Overall, it is a beautiful place and we will probably go back. Man, these Rattlesnake bites are so good. Some things I think we will avoid in the future include the children Hot Dog and Mac and Cheese. These two articles seemed quite low, hardly above what you find at Walmart in the hot and ready warmer that they use to delete the old Deli products. The Mac was a little better than power you make at home, but just a little. The steak was good, though the steak ruined my child by searching for medium wave. Haha. Oh and these rolls of bread with the butter... also great!
We had an early dinner. I had the Sirloin and the ribs camem and my wife had chicken roast Sirloin. The meal was delicious and we had enough to go home with the salad and baked potato. Turned off with the brownies and ice cream made it perfect. Our waitress was top notch with excellent service and friendly attitude. We'll probably go back. Thanks for a pleasant experience.
