We haven 't visited Friday 's restaurant since we bought our house in Farmingville in 2016 but decided to celebrate our son 's math scores achievement last night (even though he sugested just McDonald 's or Mexican food . The atmosphere was ok and we made the order for drinks before deciding for the entrée and appetizers. When the drinks were served, we received a Sprite soda with just the taste of carbonated water and no sprite syrup (that should had tell me that something was wrong!! . Immediately I asked the server to exchange the drink for a coca cola instead and she said she could put the syrup in the machine but I insisted for a coke instead. Worst experience ever .went to Farmingville location the food was extremely disgusting and drinks tasted as if something bad was in the water and ice cubes had to send it back. Terrible terrible food and service. Had to deal with Nats hovering over our table and food the whole time even the waiter was swatting nats with his hand .. not to mentioned being handed glasses with juice running all down the side of glass .the response was oh it spilled while bringing it to you. Who says that??? No napkins to even wipe the mess instead he just gave us glasses as they were with sides sticky and all. Floors are sticky as you walk you feel your shoe stick to them , tables are dirty as the staff continu...
It was a little bit of a crazy experience. I chose TGIF based on convenience and knowing the menu and price since I was eating on the company dime. With that, I walked into the restaurant, and many were exiting as there was no air conditioning due to some ongoing maintenance work. This also triggered the fire alarm. It was extremely loud and hot. I was assured things should be back to normal very soon. With the commotion, there was a long delay in being seated and notified what was going on, and I was welcome to stay and eat. I chose to stay, but service was not the best as everyone could not seem to get back to work. My food arrived dry and overcooked. And the fries tasted like they had bee...
I wasn't in a very long time at this Friday. the restaurant has been updated and is clean. there are many tables, so there was no waiting time. there is a good choice of menu and delicious drinks selection. we had the fried garnel and fish and chips, both were very delicious. their fries were perfectly cooked. the staff was friendly and the service was fast. on Fridays, curbside pickup has also been available to take orders. Some other staff needs to learn how to be clean ... Picking at your face to then run to the back and get my order and have your fingers on my plate.
