As mentioned in many reviews, the restaurant lacks customer service. We had to repeatedly ask for cutlery and napkins. When we requested an extra spoon, we were given a wet and dirty one. The glasses were also dirty. The ribs were dry, the steak was dry and fatty, and the nachos had watery processed cheese sauce. The chicken wings were small and looked as if they were meant for children. After eating, two of us got food poisoning and were sick all night. Instead of enjoying a family dinner, we should have eaten at a cheaper restaurant nearby. Overall, the food was overpriced and of extremely poor quality. We had high hopes for the newly renovated restaurant but were disappointed. We will not...
the TGI facilities were quite empty, but larger seats that were removed from the entrance were not available for us, not why it was available enough. Of course, the TGI business model was, but next was the order that remains completely up to the customer...with the help of willing help available. scan qr code, follow a link, scan them by numerous options, add them to the bin, then give them names, email address. only for a meal, no thanks. Maybe good method to serve elsewhere, but not something we enjoyed. table service, menu to peruse, asking, order taken, meal paid a light touch.
We have visited TGI Friday's Southland several times in hopes of experiencing the brand's reputation, but have been disappointed on each occasion. Our most recent visit will also be our last. The drinks we ordered were watered down and the food was subpar. The bruschetta pasta was cold and cooked in a strange sauce, while their "famous" chicken dish was burnt and unappetizing. It seems that the chefs at this location lack proper training and skill. The staff also seemed disorganized and inattentive. Overall, this branch does not live up to the TGI Friday's name.
To start with the service was particularly poor. The waitress that greated us was very disinterested and passed us off to another waitress, who was also pretty poor. The potota skins were dry. The burger was good and the steaks were good. The Tex Mex...was completely bland and so was the macaroni cheese. As another reviewer recently wrote, the standards have significantly decreased over the past few years at this restaurant.

We order the Mac N Cheese potato twister it was so big and delicious. For mains I had scotch fillet and asked for it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection which is really hard to find these days. The service was brilliant also...with the server (Gabs i think her name was) was so attentive to our needs but not over bearing which you can find in some places. Overall I highly recommend this place.
Ordered takeaway from southland/sport global store and I have never been more disappointed. Garden Salad from Calamari (main) and slaw from pork full rack (main) were both missing. Paid for this meal... not happy about the quality and missing items. I feel ripped off.
According to my American friends, TGI Friday's has become synonymous with American grilled dishes like wings and steak. However, many customers believe that the food quality is subpar and the service is lacking. TGI Friday's could definitely improve.
the food was absolutely amazing. we had great chats with the staff- especially stuart. the staff were very friendly and always offering their service. couldn’t have had a better night with them.

We ordered the pork ribs with signature glaze it was perfect! Could have used a bit more coleslaw on the side though. Desserts were divine. Highly recommend!
Service was a little slower than we've come to expect from TGI Fridays but the food was delicious. Staff weren't overly friendly or helpful.
