Thai-am - Réservation de table

Just moved to the area and thought we’d check this place out. Thai Am has a very busy take out business. If the take out order popularity was so good, you’d think the food is really great, right? We were disappointed. Our order of shrimp pad Thai was too soupy and very sweet. The spicy Thai chicken was served with flaming whiskey. It was impressive but the dish was really soaked with too much whiskey and it wasn’t that spicy. The rice that came with the dishes wasn’t enough. By the time our server asked if we wanted more, we were pretty much finished. I’d give this place another shot. Portion sizes were good. Maybe the chef was having a bad night with the sauces.

I don’t understand how you can have egg noodles on the menu, but then serve somebody .69 Ramen noodles and then I called you to confirm and then I was told yes that’s what we serve. Everything else is good but you can’t have egg noodles on your menu and then hand somebody Ramen noodles. I’m just trying to help you guys up your game I’m sorry

Been coming here for over a decade. Its not a fancy sit down type of place, interior is very humble. The food though, absolutely fantastic.

Pai Thai had a funny after taste. Chicken had no flavor and over cooked.
