Thai Basil - Réservation de table

Well we booked a table for 9pm and we arrived 9.15pm. Took the staff over 10 minutes to take our order when we finally placed an order the waiter said ‘Do you mind if I bring starters and mains together because the kitchen closes at 9.39?’ We had ordered spring rolls which was served with no additional cutlery offered the tables are served with spoon fork so no knife offered to eat spring rolls. Plus the gentleman toilets do not have a lock and there was wee all over the floor. Overall a massive disappointment!!

I was here once, and was the worst experience I’ve ever had. A male (owner) was very disrespectful towards me and my family and the rice was awfully dry. I asked for my rice to be re-made and the male basically ignored me and took about 30 minutes for me to get a different bowl of rice which was the complete same. I asked for a glass of wine and received a dirty wine glass with a lipstick stain on it. I don’t recommend, the service is horrible and slow and inconvenient towards people.

I had an incredible experience at this charming restaurant! The decor had so many intricate details that I couldn't resist taking pictures and capturing the atmosphere. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The service was efficient and friendly, with wait times for drinks and food only between 5 and 10 minutes. It was quick and impressive.

We ate here a week ago on the first night of a week in Skipton and found it very pleasant indeed. There is a wide range of options on the menu and just enough little touches of originality to keep it interesting (such as the pork toast on the excellent mixed starter platter). We would definitely be happy to eat here again! Réservez une table maintenant

We made a last-minute reservation on a Friday night to try Thai Basil for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian massaman curry, which is not commonly found at Thai restaurants. The portion sizes were perfect and we are excited to return next time we are in Skipton.

The food is very average, not authentic and tastes like it's straight out of the freezer. The sauces are overly sweet and watery, making for a disappointing experience. I will not be coming back.

Super meal at this Thai restaurant. We hadn’t booked and as the restaurant was busy we didn’t think we’d get a table. However the very helpful staff fitted us in. Food was absolutely delicious.

A very quaint place with a hint of the jungle. Tigers a plenty and monkeys. Food was excellent and the usual sort of price for Thai food. Service was good and atmosphere very pleasant. Réservez une table maintenant

Awful, inedible. It is the first time I have ever walked out of a restaurant have looked at and tasted such terrible food.
