A friend recommended a tea place. The place is not big, if there are many people during the holidays, it is recommended to make an appointment in advance. There are parking spaces near the restaurant. If there is no parking space, you can park on Qianxiaoji Street or Wickes Guotiao Street. Food-wise, it's generally good. The barbecued pork is delicious, and the daughter's red chicken feet are just right but the portion is relatively small. This restaurant is a lovely hidden gem in my lovely area. I honestly feel that if the interior was better it could easily compete with top restaurant in Central. The service is good and food is delicious. This is a very homey restaurant as someone who is from Hong Kong and frequently misses authentic dim sum, this place definitely satisfies my cravings. The food is delicious the staff is super friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend the har gau, cha siu puff pastry, and their cold soy milk. The service was exceptional, and the dim sum was absolutely exquisite! The management at Thai Elephant should take pride in their staff, as Chinese-Thai restaurants often struggle with impersonal, robotic service. However, the team here was friendly, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable, all while maintaining a professional demeanor. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Been going to The Thai Elephant since I was about 3 years old (in my 30's now). Always loved the food and so happy they started doing dim sum at lunchtime. I had a wonderful meal here, all made in-house. Every bite was incredibly flavorful. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, contributing to a great overall experience. I will definitely be recommending this place!
