The food at this restaurant was delicious, but the service was extremely poor. We felt very uncomfortable as the waitress did not speak, smile, or make us feel welcome. When we asked for more time to decide on our order, she just stood by the wall staring at us, which was very strange. She even removed our mixed starter platter before we had finished and reached over me while I was eating to take away cutlery. Additionally, she tried to take away my sister's plate while she was still eating her main course. Throughout the entire dinner, the waitress did not speak or smile at all. Service was pretty slow, half the table received food and the other half took too long to follow. One person ordered duck and received beef. The fish cake starter didn’t resemble fish cake or indeed fish. The prawn crackers were charged when we asked if were included in banquet meal and was told yes. All of this was not a major issue but being made to feel uncomfortable over leaving a tip ruined the ambience of our evening. The waiter outright questioned why we were not leaving a tip several times! We will not return or recommend which is sad as pre-covid we used to have great evenings and great food here :
3 of us ordered the grand banquet which was the dearest on the menu so the starter we had one piece of 5 items which were small then the main came out between 3 of us but we think is was for two because there was hardly any food we were all still hungry so I ordered a pudding and that was extra I think for the price the pudding should of been included, we had the most miserable service in fact a bit rude but food did taste good but not enough of it and really expensive for wot u got a bit more for the money should be given , won’t be racing back there anytime soon
We had lunch here yesterday and had a great experience. We were warmly welcomed , seated promptly and given menus. The service was polite, efficient and timely and our waitress checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. We both had the chicken satay to start then a beef massaman and a Penang chicken with a side of pad mi noodles. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting and served piping hot . We also had a pot of jasmine tea for two. An excellent lunch in a delightful setting, we will definitely visit again.

This was our second visit to this restaurant, and it was just as fantastic as the first time. The staff were extremely friendly, making us feel very welcome, and the food was exceptional. We believe this restaurant is best reserved for special occasions, as it can be expensive, but it is definitely worth it if you are celebrating something special, like we were. It was busy for a Monday, which was great to see.
Have eaten here many times, and let down by recent experience. Food was OK but not as good as in the past and the pudding selection is still woeful. Miserable, rude waitress and they have the cheek to add a 10% service fee to your bill, which is virtually impossible to read as it is so dark. I have been going there for over 10 years. Don't think I'll go again.
First time here in about 7 years, it was very good then and it still is. The food was fabulous as was the service, the waitresses where extremely pleasant, great value for money too. The restaurant has a beautiful interior of solid timber with elaborate carvings which interesting too. If I am in Evesham again I will definitely return
Always Clean, always great food. We’ve yet to find something on the menu we don’t like. The portions are a good size and all the dishes are packed with flavour. This has become a regular for us now, would definitely recommend a visit.
