"Very nice staff, able to accommodate my vegan diet. Fried rice was very good. Yellow curry was awesome but quite spicy. Dining space was pretty warm but otherwise comfortable for my group of 4."

I come from NYC, moved to Myrtle Beach 6+ years ago. I am a huge fan of Thai food and just discovered Thai Lao two months ago. Been back 4 times since. I ask myself, why did it take me so long to find this place? Their papaya salad is delicious, as is their Panang curry with chicken pineapple fried rice. My mouth waters when i think of it. If you get there early enough to order off their lunch menu, do it. Otherwise, they are a bit pricey, but well worth it. I’d rather pay more for good food than eat bad food for less. Black Thai in Conway was awesome, but closed a few years ago(I believe their landlord tried to jack up their rent when their lease was up). Thank you Thai Lao for being here.

I Googled best Thai food near me and found this gem. On vacation, my husband and I wanted different dinners so he got BBQ take out and I ordered a bunch of items here for us to eat and snack on. The sumtum was some of the best I've had. If we lived here, this would be someplace I would eat at regularly. Seems like a great family run business. I highly recommend this place!

Family owned restaurant with OUTSTANDING food. The Thai tea and coffees were strong yet smooth. We started with tod man goong (ground shrimp mixed with curry and herbs) which was a great starter and then for the entree we had Mango Paradise and red curry. I couldn't possibly recommend this restaurant anymore. It is well worth your time.

Really brilliant Thai food. Service was very good. I recommend coming here safely. I ordered the egg rolls as an app. Try really well, good diving sauce too. Spicy shrimp and garlic chicken for entres. Both very good. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
