Thai-Restaurant Samui

I have lived across the street and passed this little restaurant for the past 9 months then decided to take the step of actually trying the food last night, and it did NOT disappoint. We ordered the mixed starter for 2 and it was served...freshly made with very good presentation made from vegetable which made the food look even better. I had the spicy chicken noodle dish and my brother had the masamee which was excellent. We didn't realize the size of the portions and my brother ordered 2 side dishes of fried rice also. I had an evening to explore before I left Germany and after thai samui, I thought about it. I had tasted the excellent German cuisine all week and a meal Thai food seemed welcome. the restaurant is not large. beautifully furnished with the tables and chairs out, there is a beautiful ambiente. I ordered tom kha gai, a traditional Thai suppe. it was excellent with various aromas and a beautiful dose of seasoned. my main course was gai panang, who should be a cocose and peanut curry with huhn. the fruit taste was missing, but the dish was quite good overall. the spicy level was 0, but this is easily fixed with the spicy bottom. a bad thing is that this restaurant broccoli has been added to the...

A good experience and highly recommended. We checked what we know from our stay in South-East-Asia Thailand and found the taste to be quite genuine, the grade of spicy' indicated on the menu to reflect reality, the portions to be sufficient, the service acceptable....The Tom Yam soup was good, could have a tad more of lemon grass. The thai spicy' No. 57 was really Thai spicy, No. 56 was just delicious and the desert also original. The atmosphere is a a tad dull, nothing specific, the service is of sufficient quality. The one and only downside: We arrived at the hour of opening (12:00) and the table cloth was already still stained. Otherwise: Try it, be happy!

I was looking for an authentic Thai restaurant that I wanted to visit with 2 Thai ladies. I tried samui restaurant in duisburg and was disappointed. my 2 ladies got real authentic Thai food, but my court was so much European that it tasted....I gave my teller completely filled. I was probably just a misunderstanding because the cook told me that their German customers wanted this court so. Maybe, but I wanted it authentic and not swimming in an ugly tamarind sauce. We were searching in internet for Thai food in Duisburg and we called Thai Restaurant Samui and the pretty nice lady answered and called us to help for the location to find easily she send me via wats app. We enjoy the good taste of...food and the service is fast with a smile i would like to thank them for a great evening experience and kind assistance and service we will definitely recommend to our friends. I was just for a night in duisburg and wanted to eat some big Thai food and was not disappointed by my choice. the starters were delicious, so was the main course. the restaurant is just a short walk away from the main center and it would go definately back there.

Sorry to say but the food can only described as substandard. Everything we had ordered tasted dull and unimaginative. Service was on the slow and indifferent side. If our are looking for real Thai food this restaurant is definitely not recommended. Réservez une table maintenant

Nothing that I disliked the food was delicious (I had the vegetarian green curry with coconut milk and a spicy soup beforehand) and the atmosphere pleasant. The lady serving was a bit commanding, but otherwise, a very good experience.

Fantastic thai food with a very good presentation.. how they make flowers from vegie OMG incredible! Also good service.. nice atmosphere and resonable price will go back there for sure!
