Thai River - Réservation de table

Last week I had takeaway from Thai River for the first time. It was absolutely fantastic! I ordered a Chicken Pad Thai; Pork with chilli jam & cashews; and a Seafood Green Curry. There was plenty of meat and vegetables in each of the dishes; they were delicious and of a very high quality. And the cost was reasonable. Very impressive! I will be returning there when I next visit Birkdale.

The Thai River restaurant at Birkdale never disappoints with its quality Thai offerings both dine-in and take-away. I was a little unadventurous and ordered my favourite, Pad Thai although the Tom Yum Goong (prawns) is excellent.The menu is versatile with a range of curries, salads, stir fried, soups, seafood and duck. Service is obliging and quick, BYO wine is always good.

Arriving at the restaurant we were quickly seated and shown the menu - which was comprehensive to say the least. we chose entrees of sesame prawns and money bags - both of which were very tasty.Mains were a duck and a prawn curry. They were beautiful and reminiscent of out times in Thailand. They were fresh with heaps of flavour.Will be making Thai RIver a regular I think.

Happy to travel to this Thai Restaurant...brilliant flavours and the vegetables are not overcooked at all.This is a BYO which is fine, but think they should maybe introduce some more interesting non alcoholic beverages to their menu.We have always been in a group of 6 or more and found the service to be quick and the food very very tasty...lovely flavours. Always go for the yellow curry here with chicken as it is the best I've tasted this side of the city! Spring rolls always a winner here too! Family love other dishes. Clean and good service.

I have eaten here many times and the food is great - you can tell others agree as it's always busy - if your looking for a good bayside Thai this is a place that will not disappoint

Arrived just before closing & staff only too happy to take my order, great chicken fried rice and the yellow curry was great. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be back

The entrees were great, the service a bit rushed. The mains a little inconsistent, deserts were nice....but overall a nice meal with good friends Réservez une table maintenant

Always experience great food and service here. The food is always fresh and tasty. They are happy with families with kids.

Garlic pepper beef and tofu with coconut rice is the best you will ever have. large servings and always fast service
