We have been eating at Thai Spring Roll since it first opened which I imagine was 10 years ago. I have traveled to Thailand and taken Thai cooking classes so I think I have a decent understanding of Thai flavours (but of course I am not Thai).I have always felt that Thai Spring Roll was excellent. Even though I have many other Thai restaurants closer to home, we still drive all the way to Aurora to get our takeout from here. The owners are wonderful. The green curry and cashew chicken is perfection. The eggplant is amazing.Glass noodles OMG ;)Spring rolls are simple but tender, moist, crispy. My young children love the pineapple rice.Mango salad is the *best* I've had and the portion is huge. Here is the BUT....In the last year I have noticed that the portions have shrunk:-The glass noodles dish (which is exceptional) now has tiny peeled shrimp rather than the former huge, tail on shrimp.-The amazing mango salad is about 1/3 the size that it used to be. And fewer whole cashews.-Green/Red curry (both perfection) has no eggplant in it anymore. Mostly just a few peppers and bamboo.Overall, everything is smaller and skimpier.I get it, good quality food is expensive. But up-charge me by a dollar or two instead of skipping and shortchanging me. I'm left feeling like I got scammed.Sadly, it's time for me to find a new Thai restaurant :(
