On our anniversary date 1st June (19 years together) we thought what better way to celebrate but go back to our once favourite haunt Thai Tables in nearby Bayswater. Well we were pleasantly surprised to find little has changed in the way of service and standard of the food. In fact the size of the dishes have increased appreciably whilst the pricing has remained similar to what we can remember. We love Thai food and have tried many other venues over time. Interestingly enough we both thought Thai Tables still holds the mantle as the very best. Arguably the most established and famous restaurant in Bayswater. Thai tables have been around for many years starting out as a small place with few tables to eventually buying blocks next door and behind making the current layout huge. Menu has good variety of standard Thai dishes, nothing special or outstanding but they are cooked beautifully and taste delicious. Recommend getting the banquet set meals as they allow you to try various dishes; portions are generous so plenty of food for everyone. We usually try to eat here at least once when we are visiting family nearby, the food is exceptional and good value. The portion sizes are generous and this time we BYO which worked out well. It is worthwhile booking a table as they are usually very busy. There is a car park behind the shops.

Best Thai food I have found in Melbourne. Always busy, must book! Great service, great food. Reasonably priced meals. Have enjoyed every dish ordered. Don't forget to include coconut rice with your dish!

Never disappoints just great food, terrific service and an all round top dining experience. Pud nam mun Hoi is my personal favourite. The roti bread and peanut sauce as a starter is just delicious ????

I had been going to Thai tables for about 4 years now, and if never disappoints. The food is delicious, portions are excellent and price point is decent. Highly recommend.
