Thai Tamarind - Réservation de table

Met our best friends for Thai last night. Very busy night with lots of noisy patrons. I didn't book because I presumed it would be quiet. Plenty of patrons inside but alot of tables outside. Waiters and Waitresses very attentive and were okay with our stupid jokes. I had a mixed entree which was big and just over $10. Chicken Satay had lots of juicy chicken. Others at the table had spring rolls. We all agreed very tasty entrees. Mains were Penang Curry with Chicken. Very big in size. We also had Garlic and Chilli Stir Fry and coconut rice. Visited one of our favorite restaurants on May 1 which was a public holiday. 15% surcharge applied. I only had a mixed entree which was really generous. Chicken skewer looked like a chicken fillet squashed down and cut to go on skewer with a generous amount of satay sauce, spicy fish cake, deep fried prawn,spring roll and curry puff. This also came with sweet chilli sauce. Excellent dish $10.50 plus surcharge. My husband has beef massaman curry. It was very chunky. Lots of beef about 2 inches squared and extremely moist. We are regualr visitors to Thai Tamarind. While other Thai restaurants provide a more authentic Thai experience, this restaurant has always provided a consistently good meal. Our children have always enjoyed this a venue and the meals as well. Service was a little slow this time round, but the snow peas and king prawns were outstanding and worth waiting for. My wife enjoyed the Thai Chicken Salad.

As always this is our favourite Thai restaurant in the Redlands. Peter and his staff offer fantastic service and great food. Red curry and beef massaman, Thai fried rice plus starters drinks and a full house as usual. Always book in advance as this restaurant is always full Réservez une table maintenant

The food is not bad but it is not good either. Do not value the worst to make an special trip to the restaurante. The service is ok. BUT the place smells really bad, particularly the smell of fish is hard to take. We leave the place in a rush because of it.

The food and service here is great, with authentic Thai flavours, with the use of Thai style cutlery. The ocean trout with ginger was exceptional as was the crispy duck. The fried rice is a dish on its own. BYO which makes it better again. Always recommend.

Great food and atmosphere . Staff are friendly and Peter the owner/manager always happy to see you. I am local to area and we have dined and do takeaway from here for the last 14 years and never had any problems.

The food here is always good, quite a wide range of options to choose from. The stsff are always helpfull with everything. Dine inside or outside. The decor in the restaurant is just lovely. Réservez une table maintenant

people were friendly ,but the food was nothing outstanding tufu not up to standard. took Chinese friends with us, they were not impress either.
