We had lunch here on a quite sunday. Thai Thae (former boxa bar) is conveniently located close to Hurstville train station, parking and taxi rank. We ordered the salt and pepper squid as starter, crispy spiced pork in phi king sauce and the crispy barra in tamarind sauce. Tbh I was a little disappointed with the food. Squid was octopus covered in batter with no taste of salt or pepper. The crispy skin pork was overcooked to tough and the flavour was bland. The crispy barra was good and the tamarind sauce complemented it well.The restaurant has a nice interior design. Considering the reviews, I was expecting something special. It was a busy Saturday night and people were queuing to get a table however we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our food. Mine came first and it was supposed to be satay noodles - no flavour of satay whatsoever. My friend's meal came 10 minutes later and she said it was nice. But we won't be going back, I refuse to wait that long for food.
Fave Thai Restaurant à Hurstville. Nous aimons la soupe d'os de canard-gris et du porc et remuez le ventre de porc. La nourriture est vraiment délicieuse et généreuse. Bon service client aussi. Je souhaite que vous puissiez avoir plus d'options de dessert pour ajouter le menu.
I eat here at least twice a week, amazing quality of food, ingredients are fresh, service is prompt and friendly, their starters are outstanding and my I recommend the Chicken Laksa or Spicy Noodles nom nom

Great food served. Waiting time still average on a quiet day. Service could be improved with availability of the staff, is hard to find an available member no one seen or to check on your dining experience.

Authentic, hard to find Italian pizza. Excellent service and delicious food. Chef came and greeted us at our table. Cheers!
