The Acorn Bar Restaurant

I recently visited The Acorn for the first time. Although they were fully booked, they kindly offered for us to sit at one of the wine barrels, which we didn't mind. We enjoyed a lovely Pinot and were pleasantly surprised when they brought us complimentary cheesy garlic bread to enjoy while we waited for our meal (which turned out to be delicious). Both the lamb shank and Guinness pie were tasty. This cozy pub exceeded our expectations for our first visit to the Basin. We would definitely return.

A great little pub in The Basin. Fantastic food, especially the small/share plates. A wide range of drinks also available. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The venue also has live music on weekends and quite often run charity fundraising events. Highly recommend!

We adore this spot! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is delightful. We frequent this place often, but it's also wonderful to just relax with a few drinks. They also have specials on certain nights of the week.

A must see The Acorn on Forest is the best little Chippery out here you have to get your next greased oiled deal from here. Best tasting around.
