Came here around 6 for dinner on a Saturday night and it was surprisingly dead. We both got skirt steaks which were thankfully very good although the rest of the dish could have been hot (mashed potaotes were luke warm at best). It was cold inside and I am not a fan of Country music and thats all that was played. We asked our waitress if thats all they play and she said its what the owner chooses which is unfortunate. Country music in Rocville Centre? At least maybe some holiday songs? Mix it up? Anything but awful country. Waitress was very nice/helpful so at least there was that. Went to this place for the first time for dinner , looks can be very deceiving… the place looks amazing from the outside and the inside is just as nice. Waitress was great. Kitchen sounded like there was a party/screaming match going on I could barely have a conversation because all I hear is the kitchen guys screaming. The food looked super presentable but it did not taste good at all. I had the salmon and it was super fishy, the asparagus was not chewable and the mashed potatoes had hardly any flavor, did not seem fresh at all, menu is super small and very overpriced. Don’t think we will be going back here.
The food quality has noticeably decreased since last year. The owner seems to be trying to reduce costs without lowering prices. The chicken and waffles dish consisted of chicken wedges instead of a whole piece of chicken. The Ainsworth breakfast came with bacon crumbles on top of a skillet, although the owner did bring out two slices of bacon separately, it was clear he was not happy about it.
I had a wonderful brunch experience at Ainsworth, particularly because of the exceptional service provided by Sarah. We have had her as our server before and she is always reliable, friendly, has a great memory, and goes above and beyond to meet her customers' needs. We look forward to our next Sunday brunch. I always have a fantastic time at this restaurant. I was just disappointed to find out they no longer serve tuna tacos. However, the service is always excellent, the venue is beautiful and has a great atmosphere with a DJ playing. Definitely one of the best brunch spots on Long Island!
My friends and I chose The Ainsworth for our annual gift exchange for Christmas. It was a great experience with excellent service and tasty food. Our waitress Caroline was wonderful. We will definitely be coming back throughout the year. Happy Holidays !
We went for a friends Birthday Brunch. Our waiter was awesome. Very attentive and fun. The brunch menu offered some sweet options and some “regular” breakfast items. I'd definitely go back!
The staff was on point and they were very attentive the music was good the dj was doing his thing Was there to celebrate my birthday and had a open bar for and hour and the bartender was on

the braised short rib was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Definitely plan on eating in restaurant at some point to have it completely fresh!
Everything was amazing! Roasted Brick Chicken was so juicy flavorful !!
