Akash Tandoori Restaurant is one of the places you pass during the day and never notice that it is there. That's a big mistake. This place serves some of the most beautiful food I tasted. Many flavors and boiled cakes hot. The staff is pleasant and courteous, the place is clean and tastefully decorated. To this occasion I had, poppadome for appetizers with 4 different sauces dips all full taste, for the main the Tandoori chicken, which on a sizzling dish on a bed of onions, pilue rice, curry sauce, fries and a garlic nan bread. The whole food was full of taste and tasted really good. Definitely worthy of the 5-star rating. The staff are very respectful and time their visits to your table without it being intrusive. From the street level you have to take a staircase up to the restaurant. Most of the seats are set up to make you feel like you are on your own private boat but also for larger parties that are more open. There is also a bar area with a good selection of wines and beer. Toilets are on a different level of stairs, so the only drawback is it not really suitable for disabled or disabled foot. Taxis can be accessed via the restaurant or easily get in a 2min walk around the corner. The restaurant because of the high obsession and it was mesmerizing. We ordered the Lamb Tikka Curry with Special Fried Rice and Prawn Biryani. Both dishes are very delicious, but I think Curries are their most important specialties. The lamb was super delicate and melted in the mouth. Also the owner and the employees are friendly. Worth visiting and recommended.
