The coffee shop employees were very helpful and kind seating is a bit tight. There is a side room as well with additional tables in the main room has a field large tables. Parking is pretty plentiful either across the front of the building where there is angled parking or along the streets and back or at the big parking lot that is shared with many other businesses. I've been visiting Anchor for years and have always loved the atmosphere, the coffee, and most of the staff members—they're truly fantastic. However, I've noticed that some employees insist on serving drinks in to-go cups within three hours of closing time just to avoid washing dishes. I can understand if it's just an hour before closing, but anything sooner than that feels unnecessarily harmful to the environment and really dampens the overall vibe.

The online menu was outdated, and there were no cookies available as advertised. There were only two scones in the display case. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was decent, although the music was a bit loud for conversation. Thankfully, we were able to lower the volume. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.
The café had a nice ambiance, and the coffee was quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, I almost overlooked ordering it because the cashier was distracted and seemed to ignore us. The service overall was lackluster. I don't think I will be coming back. Food rating: 3/5.
