The food was absolutely delicious, earning a perfect rating of 5 out of 5. The service was equally outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who made our visit enjoyable. Old fashioned pub with cold menu of cobs, pork pie salad's etc. really enjoyed my lunch. Great place to go to after a walk with the dog, who is welcome inside. Parking: Limited parking by the pub. This beautiful pub offers a fantastic atmosphere, and the famous cobs definitely lived up to the hype. Enjoying a lovely lunch while sipping drinks in the sun was delightful. Excellent line up of beers and cobs still as good. Two thick slices of brisket in a very fresh cob with ample salad as always. As my companion from Scotland would say 'Marvellous '!
