from any bizarre background, the meat-free options are not listed on the regular menu with all others. I thought there was nothing for me. as it turns out, there is a vegetarian menu that is kept hidden in front of the “regular” menu when asked....The options were not great or varied, but not the less I found something beautiful. I enjoyed my meal, but felt alienated by the fact that the veggie options are not next to the rest of their meals. I have been vegetarian for over 20 years and never felt so lonely in a restaurant like that. Why on earth are not the meat-free* open ethically high standing) dishes with the rest listed. my appetit and money is just as good as anyone else. the staff really has to move with the time. somewhere I've been veggie for 20 years, working so anachronistic. mord is so on the way out of love, plant power is the future with him.
Visited Friday lunchtime with my wife, our daughter and her new husband and our grandson to celebrate our daughter's wedding (Wednesday) after reading previous reviews and we were delighted we had. The service was great, the food was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented and very...reasonably priced. I personally can recommend the sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection, exactly as I had requested it. Our grandson also had the steak, my wife had a smaller (Seniors) roast, our daughter had chicken and our new son in law the steak ale pie. Everyuthing was delicious and well presented. We also had desserts and drinks. This was our first visit to the Angel for food but it will definitely not be our last. Superb!!

I personally can recommend the sirloin steak that was cooked to perfection, just as I had requested. our enkel had the steak, my wife had a smaller (seniors) roast, our daughter had huh and our new son in law the steak-ale-pie. everyuthing was delicious and well presented. we had desserts and drinks. this was our first visit to the fish for eating, but it will not be our last. superb!
Another 5* meal out, the Angel never fails to deliver. Fantastic halloumi starter and the burger was first class as always . My wife had the new chicken and leek pie which she loved and liked how the pies are now in a dish covered...with pastry and not just filling on the plate with pastry plonked on top that's a plus. Fantastic attentive service and great value
