The Anglesey Arms

My family and I had Sunday lunch here, firstly i have to say how miserable and unwelcoming the staff are, they seem to spend the whole time out the back, so everytime i wanted service i had to go to the bar and shout. The food was presented nicely and was hot but nothing special, it obviously had been kept warm for some time. I was going to have dessert but there was no staff around to order. My opinion is there are better cheaper places for sunday lunch.

I discovered this restaurant after my boyfriend's graduation, seeking a peaceful meal for our group of four following a busy day. The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. I would definitely return if I am in Anglesey again in the near future.
