The Apothecary Tea Rooms

we were pleasantly surprised to find a series of clearly marked vegan options on the menu at the cookhouse, including a cooked breakfast, sandwiches, paninis and cakes, as well as soy milk available for hot drinks. our vlt sandwich and vegan cheesecake were really delicious. the personal was also so beautiful and helpful, even with water and cookies for our dogs, who are welcome both in the indoor and outdoor areas.

super friendly owner welcomes us as walked. great service and a really good warm fresh scones with a coffee. would recommend it. during these times he offered several places for us to sit with magnificent views on the balcony and access to clean toilets (we followed the tourist signs for the public loos, but they could not find them or even know whether they were open)

the hotel is located on the top of the main road opposite the church so a good place to start or finish. always a friendly reception for her and her dog! eating is good and cheap. well recommended!

very helpful staff was happy to absorb gluten intolerance and the vegan tagine was really delicious. perfect portion size for an independent meal, they get a beginner if they are really hungry!
