We were given a very warm welcome as we entered the Aviator. We ordered drinks which came very quickly and looked at the Sunday lunch menu. We saw the fantastic offer of a whole roast chicken with all the trimmings to feed our family of 4. It did not disappoint, a generous size chicken which we carved at the table, plenty of fresh vegetables, yorkshire puddings and stuffing with plenty of gravy was such a good choice for us. This was a very nice and tasteful trip and the food and yorkshires are very nice. They are simply amazing. You should come here on any occasion if it’s family, business, it’s amazing just come here for a quick drink. Also this pub is dog friendly! A lot of pubs aren’t which makes this pub stand out to the rest. Thank you for this experience and also a big thank you to the chef for the amazing food and pudding The Buxtons
Had our annual family early Christmas lunch, did not disappoint as always. Food was amazing, stuffing was the best I've had in any restaurant. My recommendation is do not eat for 24 hrs prior as you won't need to eat for 24hrs after. Soo good I'm taking my mother-in-law.
We have been for both just a drink and Sunday lunch so far. You need to book for Sunday lunch but the food is gorgeous and if you make the effort to be friendly they are all lovely people. Definitely coming back, sorry guys your stuck with us Swindonites

Great coffee, I only needed a light breakfast but the granary toast was excellent….really tidy and clean restaurant and facilities. My colleague had a breakfast nap which he said was one of the best. Well done to all your polite staff.
Our motorcycle club (Gloster Meteors TOMCC) have been using and made most welcome at The Aviator for some years. Great food, beers and ciders and friendly staff. Great Xmas party, as usual, last Saturday.
Enjoyed our 1st Glos Metior Xmas party. Great pub. Very friendly . Food is good and plentiful. Good service and well looked after. Perfect place for a party.
Great breakfast with fantastic view. Very friendly and welcoming, food hot and freshly cooked. Doggy friendly too: A regular go to for breaksfast!
