I had the large with a mix of turkey and pork. Loads of crispy roasts, wide and generous selection of vegetables, yorkie and stuffing, choice of plain or mustard mash too. for a group of hikers for a lunch break. the website checked for menus, but google said it was permanently closed! when one of the groups was here before a week, we were not too worried. but when we arrived this morning, there was a sign that the place was closed because of unforeseen circumstances. Please note them and check them before they come. that said that things happen so that I am not too critical, but it was a disappointment.
We had a party of 15 people for Sunday roast and desserts at this restaurant. The food and service were excellent. We definitely plan on returning. The price per person was between £20-30. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. We highly recommend the Roast Beef and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
