The Bakehouse - Réserver une table

I only had a coffee rather than food but popped in as there was a big cut out sign of a latte by the entrance. There was no latte on the menu, only 'coffee ', so I asked for a coffee with milk but it was instant and really didn 't taste very nice only £1.50 but even so I would expect more particularly given the sign. Also no soya milk option. I know it 's a café and not a coffee shop, but it is the 21st century and virtually everywhere does soya lattes now!

I visited the Bakehouse during lockdown to pick up a takeaway sandwich for my dad and a cheese and onion pie for dinner. I've lost count of how many times I've been there! After trying the pie, I can confidently say it was the most delicious thing I've had in a long time. Thank you, Bakehouse! I'll definitely be back.

It is not Posh! But if you need great simple food and you are in Royton then this is the place! Very clean, as you would expect. Great value for money. Dated decore and a little cramped but the food was delightful with a freshly brewed cup of tea, who cares?

Great place for a hot snack drink at very fair prices. Plenty of seating very popular on Thursday, market day. Large cappuccino was massive great value.
