I used to go to this place a lot and I thought $4 for loaf of bread was a little on the high price but didn't bother me as much. But now it went up to $5 a loaf. I know things are expensive now adays and concious that the price of ingredients might have gone up and maybe if it went up to $4.50 I wouldn't have mind. But instead it went up a whole dollar. So for me that was my last time going there.
I moved from Bergenfield a few years ago now, but the entire time I did live there over 20 some odd years this bakery was the gem ? of my existence, the bread is unmatched, fresh daily, crunchy outside fluffy and soft inside ? and the pastries delightful, great service and family owned. The dad, daughter and son are all so kind as well. Really miss this place.
Looking for a cake, very happy I came here they have a variety of very delicious cakes with a cute presentation. The pastries are even better ! Chocolate mini croissants are my favorite. They have snack sizes and large sizes of cakes and if you are in a rush they have party hats, Birthday cards and Birthday candles. One of my favorite bakeries in around!
I stopped by just to grab a buttered seeded roll, and I couldn't have been more pleased. This place is the real deal! The food is authentic, and the baking skills are top-notch. Réservez une table maintenant
I use to pass this place on my Transit route 166 bus ?, had to stop in before work. The bagels and bread are spectacular ????
