I ordered a chocolate cake with the frosted buttercream icing for my son's 9th birthday. I anticipated the cake to be outstanding since my employer only uses Bakery House for years now. That being said the cake was fabulous. However my customer service experience was sadly the worst. I opened the box shortly before the party and the name was misspelled. I called and felt like I was just dismissed. The women I spoke to which I did not get a name apologized, and said it was their policy that they don't close a cake box until it's looked at by the customer. Small bakery right outside the city. Their cakes are delicious and have been a hit for all birthday parties and events. Their staff can easily customize them for you. Some may think they are a bit pricey and in comparison to a grocery store that would be correct. But remember for grocery stores many of their cakes and sweets come frozen, are thawed, and then decorated before selling. They are not made on-site. Only downfall about the bakery house is their staff (at times) can be a bit rude or very unhelpful.
